Adult Workshops

One-day chamber music workshops for amateur musicians

These workshops offer an opportunity for people of similar standards (and any age), to work together on a movement of the chamber music repertoire. Chamber groups are usually based around a tutor who plays in the group but can also be made up entirely of participants with a tutor coaching. Each workshop includes a chamber orchestra session and closes with a performance of the day’s work, which includes a movement played by the tutors.

Applicants

  • Applications are welcome from individuals or pre-formed groups; primarily for bowed string instruments, limited places are available for piano and applications are welcome from wind instruments.
